Google calender

Today we also tried out Google calender.  It's a very useful tool for people that need to cordinate events and happenings with friends and family members.  Never miss a birthday or cook out again!
check out my Google calender here.

Google talk/hangout

Last week we checked out Google talk and Google hangout.  Google talk is a feature that gives you a phone number and allows you to connect all your telephone devices to it.  So when they call the Google talk number you will be able to receive that call on more than just one phone.  Check out Google talk

We also tried out Google hangout.  It seemed pretty cool
chatting with friends in real time using a webcam.  Sure
seems like something that could come in handy for
people with traveling spouses, or family members that
live far away from each other.  Check it out here.

Kerpoof Studio

We were on Keerpoof Studio.  The website has all sorts of things for you to do.  Make pictures, drawing, card making, and even movie making.  There are of course a few other things to do, but those four were my favorites.  If you have a creative mind or need to kill a lot of time, this would be an excellent website to visit.

ToonDoo

Today we used Toondoo.  On this website you can create cartoons.  Choose from a wide selection of pre-made people and backgrounds, or select your own.  You select the style of page that you want, save it, and then later you can put multiple pages together to make a book.  My book is about why kids should go to school.  I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys making cartoons.

Along with the flowers we added the flag counter gadget to our blog.  The flag counter keeps track of what countries you visitors come from.  I hope to see people from all over the world come to my blog.  If you want to add this gadget to your blog click here.

Virtual flower bouquet.

Today we made virtual flower bouquets.  I enjoyed sending it to my fellow classmates, attaching cheesy messages along with it.  If you want to send a virtual bouquet to that special someone, or just want to make a co-worker laugh click here .

FotoFlexer

Today we were editing pictures again.  Today I tried FotoFlexer, I didn't find it as fun as picmonkey.  This seemed to have less features and the way it was set up wasn't very comfortable to control.  You can't make your picture very big at all or, you won't be able to see and you'll spend too much time scrolling up and down.  On a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 5.

Pic Money

Pic monkey is a photo editing website.  It felt real easy to you and I always figured those websites were a bit more complicated.  But I found it easy and a little fun.  I just kinda messed around, but someone who was actually trying to edit a serious picture would have no problems.

teachweb2.wikispaces.com

Today we went to the website that this post is named after.  In all honesty I can see how it could be used effectively, but Google Drive would be a much better option.  I didn't find much useful on here.  But if used correctly it could help people work together from different places.  2/10 would not use.

SuperTeacherTools and Class Tools

Wednesday we explored SuperTeacherTools and Class tools.  It mostly just random stuff, kinda put together in one site.  Timers, random name pickers, and my personal favorite, the fakebook page.  With the fakebook page you have the ability to create a fake person and edit their profile.  You can then post status' as that person and select the time the status was posted.  You can also comment as the person you made, or you can type in another name.

Stykz

Last class we used a program called stykz.  It's very simple, you download it and start creating your own stick figure animations.  The program is very easy to use and is available on mac and pc.

Claymation

Today we also looked at http://clayyourself.com/ a website where you can claymate yourself.  Make it look weird (which I did) or make it look like yourself (hopefully it comes out looking better than you, which can't be hard!;)).  Visit, make some claymations.  You can also name them and have your creation emailed to you.

Proprofs

Proprofs is a website with a wide variety of games.  There's brain games to not so so brain games.  If you sign up and register for free you can even create word searches, hangman, crosswords, and many other games.  So if you're ever bored and looking for something to do go to http://www.proprofs.com/ for some games to pass the time.

Google offers and Panoramio

Today we looked at Google offers and Panoramio.  Google Offers is a place for business to list sales and deals for a small fee.  And for customers to find deals in their area.  Panormia is a website where you can look photos people have taken all over the world.  North Korea to Africa.  Both are useful websites.
